Job Responsibilities

• Position parts according to knowledge of the unit being assembled or utilize a blueprint.
• Assemble and fasten parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners with hand tools, power tools, or air tools.
• Remove small quantities of metal to ensure close fits between parts.
• Operate machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations as specified.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, performing basic housekeeping duties throughout the shift.
• Be adaptable to undertake additional roles as requested by supervisors or managers beyond typical assembly duties.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in assembly.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Capable of following detailed instructions and work orders.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troutman, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
