Position Summary
The Manager of Engagement and Inclusion leads a team that creates a comprehensive engagement strategy that serves our employees as well as position us a good and valuable corporate citizen to the communities where we live and work. This person is also responsible assisting the Director of People Development & Inclusion with deploying a strategy that ensures that our company builds a culture that respects and values all stakeholders.Job Responsibilities
- Supervises and coaches the Engagement and Inclusion team members while supporting key development in their roles.
- Leads New Hire Orientation curriculum updates and facilitation, while continuously providing updates to content and branding.
- Build the Charlotte culture and engagement strategy to include all company events, local partnerships, and sponsorships.
- Helps create a culture of belonging, engagement, and connection to the PSA Way through company programs and events.
- Develop and coordinate core programs including the Annual Leadership Meeting, Presidents Awards, ABLE awards, holiday parties, company service awards, D+ leadership meetings, etc.
- Centralizes all culture team member surveys, whether it's hosting a Pulse Survey, tracking onboarding surveys, exit survey results, etc.
- Supports Director of People Development & Inclusion with company strategy to include events, tracking, education, partnerships, heritage month celebrations along with HBCU and HSI recruitment and presence.
- Assists the Director of People Development & Inclusion with the development and management of the PSA Inclusion Council.
- Works collaboratively with the People Development team, leaders of key departments, marketing stakeholders to determine most effective engagement and inclusion content and marketing of each program internally and externally.
- Supports and serves as the primary point of contact for all People Development and Inclusion Work Instructions.
- Serve as the team's SME on all assessments to include Pulse Surveys (end to end), and other instruments as required to help gauge the usefulness and impact of our programs.
- Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required- Bachelor's degree in Communications or Training or related field.
- At least five years of experience in Engagement, Development training to include: event planning, project management, curriculum development and facilitation.
- At least 2 years of previous supervisory/managerial experience.
- Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office programs with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint.
- Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) software and an HRIS system.
- Ability to speak/read/write in English.
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
- Proficient in using on-line learning authoring software such as Adobe Presenter, Articulate, Captivate or other state of the art tools as necessary.
- Proficiency with data analytics.

Supervisory Responsibility: This is a supervisory position. Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to Director of People Development and Inclusion. Authorities: None Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
