SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER
Verbatim Americas seeks an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead our product management department and drive strategic product initiatives across our media storage and computer accessory portfolio. This role combines hands-on product leadership with people management responsibilities, requiring close collaboration with our Germany locations to ensure cohesive global product strategy execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned:
Product Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive product roadmaps for our media storage and computer accessory lines, ensuring alignment with market demands and company objectives
- Lead cross-functional product development teams from concept through launch, managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation
- Define product requirements, specifications, and go-to-market strategies in partnership with engineering, sales, and marketing teams
Team Management & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
- Establish clear performance metrics and career development paths for direct reports
- Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing across the product management organization
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across all departments
Global Operations & Collaboration
- Partner closely with Global Purchasing team located in Germany.
- Coordinate product launches and marketing campaigns across multiple regions, adapting approaches for local market conditions
- Manage international supply chain considerations and vendor relationships affecting product development
- Travel to Germany locations quarterly to maintain strong working relationships and strategic alignment

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in leadership roles
- Proven track record managing consumer electronics, storage solutions, or technology accessories
- Experience leading international teams and managing cross-cultural business relationships
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in product management tools and methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Fluency in English required
- Willingness to travel in North America and internationally up to 25% of the time
- Experience in media storage, data management, or computer peripheral markets
- Background in both B2B and B2C product strategies
- Knowledge of market regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management systems
- Track record of successful product launches in multiple international markets
