• Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist
• Location: Wilmington, North Carolina 28401
• Assignment Length: 13-week contract
• Shift: 5x8-hour evening shifts (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2130–$2180
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital (Outpatient, General, Clinic)
• Start Date: September 10, 2025
• End Date: December 10, 2025
• On-Site Position
• Scrubs: Royal blue

MRI Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an MRI Technologist (travel MRI tech experience required; no first-time travelers)
• Active ARRT (MR) and ARRT (R) certifications
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Valid North Carolina or Compact state radiologic technologist license (must be in hand by start date; pending license accepted for submission)
• Ability to work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients; preferred experience with neonates, infants, and pediatrics
• Demonstrated skills in abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, CINE
• Preferred: Experience in chest imaging and image post-processing

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans for a range of patient populations in a hospital environment
• Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment safely and efficiently
• Accurately document procedures and patient information using Epic
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care
• Follow all hospital protocols, including participation in Storm Team/Hurricane Team as required
• Complete mandatory hospital and unit orientation (first week, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines
• Be flexible to float to other units or affiliate hospitals as needed based on census and skill set
