Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed PT.
- Implement and progress the patient’s plan of care, including therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed.
- Assist with evaluations, re-evaluations, and measurement of patient progress toward goals.
- Facilitate gait training, ROM, strengthening, balance, and mobility activities as part of the plan of care.
- Monitor patient response, safety, and vitals when appropriate; communicate changes to the PT and care team.
- Document treatment sessions accurately and timely; ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support discharge planning and optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements
- Current North Carolina Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility for licensure in NC.
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting.
- Preferred 1 year of PTA experience in LTAC or geriatric settings; will consider strong new graduates with internship exposure.
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting and participate in a 5x8 day schedule.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills; reliable, punctual, and patient-centered approach.
