• Location: Greenville, NC 27834 – Experience the vibrant North Carolina healthcare community, scenic parks, and a lively downtown with excellent dining and cultural attractions.
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing Contract)
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• End Date: December 30, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, with on-call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2750–$2820

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (required for North Carolina nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
• Ability to circulate in the operating room; scrubbing experience is a plus
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Must comply with 80-mile radius rule

CVOR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the CVOR, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Circulate during cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, LVAD placement, endovascular procedures, and thoracotomies
• Collaborate with surgical technologists and operating room staff to maintain sterile fields and perform supply counts
• Provide patient care for a diverse population, including pre-op and post-op support
• Participate in call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
