About the Role:

Under minimum supervision, work safely and efficiently to meet production schedules and quality standards by performing curvex processes and operating necessary equipment. Leads team in the curvex area to help manage workflow in a safe and productive manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with roll door or related product lines.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a production setting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment operation, particularly Curvex machinery or similar roll forming equipment.
• Basic knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards applicable to manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and production tracking software.
• Certification in safety management or quality assurance is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the Curvex production team to ensure timely and accurate manufacturing of roll door components.
• Monitor machine performance and conduct routine maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all team members.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve production issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Analyze production data and generate reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods to support uninterrupted production flow.

Skills:

The required skills enable the Curvex Lead to effectively manage daily production activities, ensuring that roll door components meet stringent quality and safety standards. Leadership and communication skills are essential for guiding the team, resolving conflicts, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Technical skills related to operating and maintaining Curvex machinery allow the lead to quickly identify and address equipment issues, minimizing downtime. Analytical skills are used to interpret production data and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and product quality. Preferred skills such as knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and familiarity with maintenance software further support the lead in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
