Calibration Support Technician
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing civil engineering company in the RTP area who is hiring a Calibration Support Technician to join their team. This is a contract to hire opportunity working on 1st shift, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout the full cycle of their equipment servicing and calibration process
- Perform Nuclear Gauge Calibrations following established procedures and safety standards
- Prepare and manage calibration records and certification documents for customer compliance needs
- Build Standard Blocks and assist with assembly, testing, and maintenance of gauges
- Clean, lubricate, and diagnose gauges for needed repairs
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for service-related parts and materials
- Support day-to-day shop operations, including pulling parts, packing shipments, receiving deliveries, and lifting items up to 50 lbs as needed
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional and customer-focused approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems is a plus
- Experience in a calibration, testing, or technical service environment preferred
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
