As a Lead Transportation Associate , you'll be the vital force ensuring seamless product flow and unparalleled customer service. The Role
A Transportation Lead manages daily fleet operations, including scheduling drivers, planning efficient routes, coordinating vehicle maintenance, ensuring safety, and handling documentation/compliance, acting as a crucial link between drivers, management, and logistics to ensure timely, cost-effective, and regulation-compliant movement of goods or people, often involving process improvement and staff guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Logistics: Manage the journey of our products from loading to delivery to return using a variety of logistics and transportation software.
- Shipment Supremo: Oversee all incoming/outgoing logistics, upholding company standards for speed and accuracy.
- Team Lead & Coach: Guide associates through daily tasks like, staging, loading, unloading and general material movement.
- Quality Control Captain: Ensure every product leaving the warehouse meets our high bar for quality.
- Safety First Advocate: Maintain a clean, safe workplace operating within all SOPs and OSHA standards.
- PIT Master: Operate a variety of Forklifts
Essential Skills:
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and logistics.
- Excellent communication and leadership.
- Problem-solving and decision-making.
- Proficiency with logistics software.
