Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Area Patrol in Goldsboro NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer in a driving post where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer our agile reliable and innovative team you will put people first work with integrity and contribute through teamwork every day.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures access control activities and emergency response protocols at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances restricted areas and movement throughout the location while following post orders use-of-force guidelines and applicable laws and/or regulations.
• Support incident command and first-response activities during emergencies alarms medical events and/or operational disruptions while maintaining professional communication with site leadership and public agencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
