Senior Budget Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Sr. Budget Manager to join our team in our Raleigh, NC corporate office. This is a full-time position.

Who are we?

We are a nonprofit Head Start organization that was established in 1974. We serve migrant and seasonal farmworker children and families by providing high-quality early childhood education in a safe and nurturing environment. We have nearly 50 campuses across 10 states, and we serve approximately 3,000 children each year.

Essential Functions

As the Sr. Budget Manager, you will plan and execute the budget development process by working with key personnel in the organization on the annual federal grant application. You will research funding opportunities, manage documents and deadlines, report grantee results, and prepare agency's annual budget.

What you need to be qualified

You must have significant experience developing budget and grant applications for a large federally funded organization. You much be able to communicate, receive, and transfer written, oral, and electronic information effectively. Being proficient in Microsoft Office Products Budgeting, and Accounting Software is necessary for this role.

Additional requirements include:

Accepted: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with 7 years of Budget Development experience.

Preferred: Master's degree in accounting or related field with 5 years of Budget Development experience.

Starting: $65,000+ depending on experience and education
