Head of Payment Product Management Executive
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a visionary and execution-focused Product Executive to lead the Payment Product Management function, with oversight of Receivables, Cards, and Liquidity. This role sits within the Global Payments & Liquidity and Wholesale Digital organization and plays a critical part in shaping the future of our global payment's ecosystem. The successful candidate will drive product strategy, innovation, and delivery across multiple client segments—including Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, WIM and Wells Fargo Business customers
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision
Define and lead the strategic roadmap for payment products, including receivables, card services, and liquidity solutions.
Align product vision with evolving client needs, competitive dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
Champion innovation in areas such as real-time payments, cash flow forecasting, and digital liquidity tools.
Product Development & Delivery
Build and scale secure, client-centric solutions across payables and receivables, including reconciliation tools, specialty liquidity services, and card platforms.
Ensure consistency and scalability of product offerings across diverse client segments.
Data-Driven Innovation
Use transaction data, behavioral insights, and market analytics to identify growth opportunities and inform product enhancements.
Partner with engineering and digital teams to deliver data-informed, high-impact solutions.
Innovation
Combine deep knowledge of the payments landscape with strong strategic thinking, market foresight, to champion new ideas that shape the future of our transaction banking products and platforms.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies, including stablecoin, digital assets, and next-gen payments.
Stakeholder Leadership
Navigate a complex matrix of internal stakeholders, including coverage teams, risk, compliance, operations, and executive leadership.
Drive alignment and adoption across the enterprise, ensuring successful product launches and sustained performance.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of Product Management or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
5+ years of Management experience.
Deep expertise in global payments, liquidity management and treasury services.
Desired Qualifications:
Proven track record of designing and delivering innovative, client-centric payment solutions.
Strong technical acumen and experience managing full product lifecycles and roadmaps.
Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed, global organization.
Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams.
Agile mindset with a bias for action and iterative execution.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Experience managing risk and regulatory engagement in a financial services context.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$340,000.00 - $500,000.00Benefits
