As a **Security Professional - Armed Patrol Government Facility** in **Durham, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents within a government location. This role involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the government location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.
+ Perform regular and random patrols, both inside and around the perimeter of the location, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
+ Carry a firearm as part of assigned duties in accordance with Allied Universal and client expectations, adhering to all relevant protocols and regulations.
+ Support emergency response activities when appropriate, maintaining a professional presence during all interactions.
+ Document observations, occurrences, and security-related incidents according to company and client requirements.
+ Work closely with local authorities and government staff to support a secure environment while maintaining courteous and professional interactions.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ An armed guard card or license is required.
+ Handcuffing certification is preferred.
+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
