This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
- Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
- Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
- Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
- Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports, however may provide technical leadership on projects and direct activities of a team related to projects.
May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application.
Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities.
Work with minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned team members.
Interpret business requirements into design solutions and understand design and development of project lifecycle
Creation and maintenance of system, functional and reference documentation.
Provide support during testing phases as required, analysis and recommend bug fixes for production incidents, Performance tuning
Report root cause of the incidents and present ideas on how to prevent the incidents from occurring in future
Required Qualifications:
- ASP.Net, C# (3.5/4, Web application /4.5) - 5+ years
- SQL – 2008/2012 - 3+ years
- Web Service/ WCF - 3+ years
- Web development - 3+ years
- VC - 3+ years
- Strong Communication Skills
Desired Qualifications:
- GIT/Bitbucket - ‘Nice to Have’ 1-2 years
- Jenkins - ‘Nice to Have’ 1-2 years
- Oracle (Oracle 11g or higher)
