This role involves working in a dynamic medical-surgical/tele environment, delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Deliver expert Med Surg care to patients with diverse medical conditions including CHF, COPD, and other general surgeries.
• Perform critical skills such as tracheostomy care, chest tube management, IV starts, and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Administer non-titrating drips like Heparin, Lasix, and Protonix.
• Work collaboratively with CNAs, charge nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Adapt skills to meet needs on other units within the facility as required.

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Valid RN license with 2 years minimum Med Surg experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with EPIC EMR system is advantageous
• Capability in handling non-titrating drips; experience with Cardizem and Amiodarone is preferred
