Movement Disorders Neurologist & Vice Chief Operations
Position Overview
Duke Movement Disorders Division is seeking a clinically-focused Neurologist to join the department as Vice Chief of Clinical Operations. The Division seeks a Neurology leader with clinical operations organizational experience and a vision for excellence in clinical mission that harmonizes with our research and teaching missions. This faculty leadership role is ideal for a neurologist with organizational experience, or one poised to grow their career in clinical operations.
Responsibilities
- Movement Disorders clinics serve patients directly in Raleigh‑Durham
- Clinically-focused role with eight clinical sessions per week
- Opportunity for clinical operations leadership within division, if desired
- A bridge AI scribe available, among many Duke Health resources
Qualifications
Ideal candidates are fellowship-trained in Movement Disorders and BE/BC in Neurology. The hired physician will provide exceptional, compassionate care for patients while upholding Duke Health ethical standards. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiasm, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to the values and mission of academic medicine.
