As a **Security Officer - Logistics Screener Full-Time** in **Charlotte, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a strong and visible presence. **What You'll Do:**
+ Conduct security-related screening of individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter theft, loss, or other security-related concerns.
+ Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
+ Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures.
+ Communicate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors regarding security-related matters, incidents, or concerns.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ X‐Ray screening experience is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
