Position: Senior Estimator
Job Type: Full-Time (FTE)

Base Salary: $100,000 to $200,000 + Best-in-class benefits

Job Description: 
Key Responsibilities:

*Review plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and bid documents for heavy civil projects
*Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for bridges, dams, structural concrete, earthwork, and related infrastructure scopes
*Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
*Develop accurate labor, equipment, and material cost estimates
*Perform constructability reviews and value engineering to optimize project costs
*Prepare bid packages and assist in proposal development for public and private projects
*Coordinate with project managers, field operations, and engineering teams during the preconstruction phase
*Maintain cost databases and historical pricing information
*Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required
*Support negotiations and clarifications during the bidding process

Qualifications:

*5+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction
*Experience estimating projects such as bridges, dams, structural concrete, transportation infrastructure, or water resources projects
*Strong ability to interpret civil drawings, structural plans, and specifications
*Familiarity with DOT, municipal, or federal bid processes
*Experience with estimating software such as HeavyBid, HCSS, Bid2Win, Bluebeam, or similar tools
*Strong analytical and communication skills
*Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred Experience:

*Experience with design-build or alternative delivery projects
*Background in bridge construction, water infrastructure, or large structural concrete work
*Familiarity with public agency bidding (DOT, Army Corps, municipalities, etc.)
