Production Machinery Operator - Component Assembly Specialist
About the Role
We’re hiring a skilled operator for our Newton, NC 28658 facility to keep our 3rd shift production running smoothly. You’ll assemble components, operate equipment, and uphold quality and safety in a fast-moving environment.

- Worksite: Newton, North Carolina (28658)
- Schedule: 3rd shift
What You’ll Do
- Execute assembly and machining tasks per documented procedures and standards.
- Read and interpret work orders to determine specifications and steps.
- Inspect materials and parts for defects prior to assembly.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and production machinery to build components.
- Operate equipment safely, efficiently, and according to guidelines.
- Confirm finished products meet all specifications and quality criteria.
- Keep your work area organized and clean.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
- Contribute to assembly processes and overall productivity goals.
- Escalate equipment or process issues to the appropriate personnel.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to interpret work orders accurately
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Basic understanding of quality control
- Team-focused communication skills
- Comfort in a fast-paced, target-driven setting
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed
