Accounts Payable Specialist
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Wilmington, MA. Duties:
- Accounts Payable Specialist will process accounts payable transactions, including invoices, payments, and vendor inquiries
- Review invoices for accuracy, proper approval, and compliance with internal policies
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receive documentation when applicable
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor and internal inquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and reporting
- As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and cross-functional teams
- Support process improvements and additional projects as assigned
- Experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
