Quality Inspector - Medical Device Manufacturing
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing medical device manufacturer in the RTP area, who is hiring a Quality Inspector to join their team. This is a contract-hire opportunity working 1st shift, ensuring product quality and compliance through incoming, in-process, and final inspections in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final product inspections
- Verify products meet specifications and quality requirements
- Conduct receiving inspections to ensure materials match documentation before stocking
- Audit shipping orders and verify lot numbers and product documentation
- Complete documentation reviews and Device History Record (DHR) audits
- Generate nonconformance reports and assist with quality investigations
- Partner with production and other departments to resolve quality issues
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation
Requirements:
- 1+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, electronics, aerospace, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including basic Excel and Teams
- Ability to read and follow specifications, drawings, procedures, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Medical device or electronics manufacturing experience is a plus
