Automation Controls Engineer - Wiring/Hardware
100% Onsite in Newton, NC
Monday through Friday, 8-5 but can be slightly flexible with the exact hours.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and safety systems and structured programming
• Knowledge of controls systems design, hardware, and troubleshooting
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong written & oral communications skills
• Actively participate in all phases of projects including design, fabrication, off-line integration and testing, installation, production start-up support, training of plant personnel and technology transfer.
• Individual must be capable of executing project assignments, in a team-based environment, with minimal supervision Education:
Desired AAS or Higher. 3 additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of formal education (for a total of 10). Experience:
4 Years working with PLCs-Allen Bradley, Rockwell preferred HMIs, drives, and safety systems and structured programming, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
