Assistant Superintendent

As an Assistant Project Superintendent, you will be integral to PC’s presence in the Charlotte, NC area while building some of the nation’s most complex water and wastewater projects. The Assistant Project Superintendent supervises the field activities of PC employees and subcontractors, usually within a limited set of trades, to ensure the fulfillment of contractual requirements while meeting the company's safety, budget, and schedule goals. The right candidate will have three years’ experience successfully supervising employees and subcontractors on a construction site. Must be safety focused and have excellent communication and computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review design drawings and specifications to identify potential issues.

• Assess and report field conditions that may lead to a change in the scope of any of the project's owner's contract.

• Review unpaid subcontractor and vendor invoices to ensure payment according to terms.

• Ensure all trades and subcontractors are using the most recently issued set of design drawings and specifications.

• Review equipment cost reports and take corrective action as required.

• Assign costs to the correct job cost structures.

• Track units completed.

• Mentor and coach direct reports.
