Position: Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Raleigh, NC
Pay: $25 to $35 /hour
Experience: At least 5 years of rough or fine grading experience with dozer, motor grader, excavator, etc .
Education: High School Diploma.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Greene Resources is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:- Operate multiple grading machines, including motor graders, dozers, excavators, and loaders.
- Perform rough and fine grading, sloping, and leveling to precise tolerances.
- Read and follow grade stakes, GPS guidance, and surveyor instructions.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections and perform minor equipment maintenance.
- Support site preparation tasks such as shoveling, traffic control, and debris removal.
- Maintain strict safety practices and report hazards promptly.
- Assist with road, utility, and site preparation to project specifications.
- Proven experience maintaining grade (for motor grader operators).
- Safety-focused work habits and adherence to procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
- Sedimentation & Erosion Control certification (or ability to obtain).
- Traffic Control certification (or ability to obtain).
- Interest in leading small crews.
