As a Construction Manager-Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) Work Package Owner (WPO), you'll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. Working together, we'll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future - big and small, global and local. - Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree - 10+ years of construction management experience, with at least 5 years in a CSA leadership role on large industrial or Life Sciences projects. - Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required. - Demonstrated expert knowledge of Construction Management in Civil, Structural and Architectural - Experience leading contractors and Superintendents for current scope, engineering information, and document drawings/specifications for construction execution. - Ability to manage CSA scopes of work from the initial Bid Phase, through Execution, turnover, and close out of the Subcontract - Experience in monitoring project budgets to ensure project requirements are met. Ideally, you'll have the following experience: - Ability to work with Engineering and Subcontracting to develop scopes of work for CSA related bid packages - Liaise between Subcontracts Department and Engineering assuring that all Engineering requirements are met as they relate to the Bid Phase process along with any changes / additions to the Bid Phase documents. - Works closely with the Subcontracts Administration team to identify bidders - Attends any Pre-Bid, clarification and post-Bid meetings - Develops a comprehensive Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), which should include risk, sustainability, and schedule input. - Ensures technical bids conform to intent of Bid, including identification of gaps and any not yet bought and scope exceptions - Works with Subcontracts Administrator on Equalization/Normalization of bids #LifeSciences, #Bio/Pharma, #EPCMV, #globallifescience #LI-SH1 Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
