Help Keep Our School Clean, Safe, and Welcoming

At Movement Charter Schools, we believe a welcoming environment supports learning, belonging, and community. We’re looking for a dependable Part-Time Custodian to help us maintain clean, safe, and inviting spaces for our students, families, and staff.

What You Will Do

You will help keep our school running smoothly by maintaining clean, welcoming spaces for everyone.
As a Part-Time Custodian, you will:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain various floor surfaces

• Empty trash and recycling, ensuring proper disposal

• Restock supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.)

• Clean windows, mirrors, and fixtures for a polished appearance

• Set up and break down rooms for meetings or events as needed

• Follow safety guidelines and properly use cleaning equipment

• Report maintenance needs or safety concerns to supervisors

• Secure doors and assigned areas according to procedures

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in contributing to a positive school environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical job duties

Compensation & Schedule

This role offers steady part-time hours with collaboration and consistency.

• Part-time (up to 30 hours/week)

• Hours may include evenings, weekends, or holidays

• Flexible scheduling may be available

• Benefits are not included with this position
