Mortgage Loan Processor I

:

Come join our growing team as a mortgage processor and closing coordinator. We are a private lender specializing in renovation and construction loans, and this role will be responsible for coordinating with borrowers and settlement companies to request and clear loan requirements and prepare loans for settlement. You will be expected to manage a pipeline of loans and have strong communication skills and great attention to detail.

Mortgage processing experience is highly preferred, but applicants with at least 2 years experience working in an office environment who also have a positive attitude and are excited to learn will also be considered.

What You'll Do

• Review loan files and multiple web-based systems for data integrity
• Communicate with borrowers to request loan conditions
• Review and understand how to read loan documents such as purchase contracts, operating agreements, insurance policies, title work and more (Training is provided)
• Provide high-class customer service to all borrowers by responding timely, professionally and respectfully
• Work with settlement companies and law firms to obtain and review title commitments and settlement statements (HUDs) and ensure all documents and figures are accurate in preparation for the loan closing

Your Qualifications

• Associate's Degree
• 2 years of experience in mortgage lending (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
