Part Time Dietetic Technician or Certified Dietary Manager

Morrison Living is hiring immediately for a  Diet Technician or Certified Dietary Manager position.

• Location : Croasdaile Village - Durham, NC
• Setting: Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)
• Schedule : Part time, 24 hours per week; Monday - Friday, flexible schedule
• Requirement : Credentialed as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Dietetic Technician, registered (DTR)
• Pay Range:  $32 - $35 hr.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Diet Technician or Certified Dietary Manager (Part-Time) to join our Nutrition Team in senior living in Durham, NC.

We are an 800+ residents nonprofit faith based Life Plan Community nestled in the heart of Durham, North Carolina. Key Responsibilities:

• Assists the Dietitian with patient data collection, nutrition screening, and modified menu planning
• Assists patients in completing menu selections
• Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
• Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications :

• Credentialed as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Dietetic Technician, registered (DTR), required
• One (1) year of senior living experience, preferred
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
