About SDC:

At SDC we are a Third-party Distribution Center specializing in final mile services as well as Cross Dock services for a variety Accounts. Our final mile Services consist of a large variety of freight; however, the majority of our business consists of the delivery of Kitchen Cabinets. We pride ourselves on our team-oriented atmosphere in which we can grow as individuals and as well as an organization. We use multiple training and developmental programs to ensure our team members have the support they need. At SDC we strive for the highest standards, ensuring our customers are provided with the best possible service and overall experience possible.

• Receiving, unpacking, arranging and storing freight
• Gathering, packing, preparing and pulling freight for dispatching
• Checking freight for damage and wear, reporting faults and discrepancies to relevant parties, and marking and labeling freight
• Picking and packing freight for dispatch
• Processing inbound and outbound shipments (e.g. sorting, loading and unloading goods)
• Preparing and verifying shipping documents
• Ensuring products are stored in the correct location and in good condition
• Helping to maintain a well-organized warehouse
• Accepting deliveries for receiving
• Loading and unloading pallets
• Operating warehousing equipment including but not limited to pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks and End ride pallet jacks. This will include training to become forklift certified.
• Performing quality control checks
• Managing inventory
• Inspecting, analyzing, and storing inventory
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including but not limited to sweeping, taking out trash, organizing equipment, organizing product, etc.

Workdays:

• Monday to Friday - 8-hour day shifts
• Overtime required

We are seeking energetic individuals with a professional and positive appearance who are reliable and detail oriented. Candidates for this position must have great people skills, be self-motivated, have the ability to multi-task, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision. Previous experience in the storage industry is a plus but we will train hard workers who have the right attitudes.
