**What You'll Do:**
+ Monitor and control access to the location in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
+ Provide customer service to individuals entering or exiting the premises by verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
+ Assist in helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities through attentive observation and prompt reporting.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for irregularities and reporting any security-related concerns.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs of access control activities and any incidents that occur during the shift.
+ Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, addressing questions or concerns related to security-related procedures.
+ Support emergency response activities as directed, following location-specific emergency plans and Allied Universal guidelines.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least two years of security-related experience are required.
+ A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as requested by the client.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
