3rd Shift Production Supervisor
Gastonia, NC
$25-$30 p/hr (Based on Experience) (
9pm-5am | Sunday–Thursday | Hours Vary Based on Production Needs/Train on 1st shift

Allegiance Staffing is seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Production Supervisor for a growing manufacturing facility in Gastonia, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about developing teams, improving production, and maintaining a safe workplace.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production employees during the 3rd shift.

• Ensure daily production schedules, quality standards, and productivity goals are met.

• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company safety policies and procedures.

• Train, coach, and develop team members to maximize performance.

• Monitor employee attendance, performance, and productivity.

• Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.

• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to minimize downtime.

• Maintain accurate production reports and shift documentation.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.

• Communicate production updates and shift turnover information with other supervisors and management.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.

• Injection molding manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety regulations.

• Experience with production scheduling, reporting, and performance metrics.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems.

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising 20+ production employees.

• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience.

• Experience with KPI tracking and production reporting.
