Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides System consolidated financial information and support to all affiliates regarding general ledger transactions, processes and financial reporting.

Essential Accountabilities:

• Accurate, timely preparation and coordination of monthly consolidated financial statements and other financial information.
• Initiate and record Mission Health System financial and statistical transactions in a consistent and accurate manner.
• Prepares System monthly, quarterly and annual account reconciliations.
• Manage System non patient revenue and receivable processes.
• Instills trust in System financial data and information.

This position will be based at our North Carolina Division Office located in the South Asheville area.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or a combination of Associate's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting with 5-7 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
• Preferred Education: Masters Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Preferred License: CPA
• Required Experience: 2 years financial analysis, financial statement preparation, or external audit coordination experience with Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with 5-7 years of experience in healthcare environment
• Preferred Experience: 5 years financial analysis, financial statement preparation, or external audit coordination in healthcare environment
