Overview:
Our client is one of the industry leaders in their space and in order to enhance their capacity, they are putting a lot of capital into expansion. This person will be joining a team that's building a new facility - so at least for the first ~2 years, this person will be doing process startup, including FAT/SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, writing SOPs, training operators, etc. This plant will be state-of-the-art and the person who accepts this role will have a training period at a sister facility that many of these technologies will be transferred from. Relocation assistance will be provided - the company also offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, retirement savings (401K match), and tuition reimbursement.
Ideal Background Requirements:
- Bachelors in Chemical Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in a PSM-regulated plant as a Process or Production Engineer
- The ideal candidate would have experience starting up processes and equipment
- Industries that would be good matches for this role: batch chemicals, paints, coatings, sealants, adhesives
- Experience with PLC or DCS controls, Six Sigma, scale-up, and project work would be a plus
