As a Heavy Industrial Laborer, you'll be part of a team that restores old industrial machinery to working condition. This role demands grit, precision, and a strong work ethic as you engage in activities such as scraping off decades-old paint, re-sanding surfaces, and assisting with basic demolition.

• Day Shift
• Up to $23/hour

Responsibilities

• Perform manual surface prep including scraping, grinding, and sanding of industrial equipment.
• Assist with basic demolition tasks to remove outdated or damaged components.
• Operate hand and power tools such as grinders, drills, impact wrenches, and sanders.
• Read and interpret tape measures and basic mechanical drawings.
• Support technicians in disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of machinery.
• Lift and move heavy parts and materials using hoists, dollies, or forklifts.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all safety protocols.
• Take on a variety of tasks and projects as assigned—flexibility is key.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience in industrial settings.
• Experience in construction, production, or mechanical repair.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and follow instructions.
• Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in industrial labor or mechanical repair preferred.
• Comfortable working in dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environments.
• Forklift certification or heavy equipment experience is a plus.

This is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, DE.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
