**About this role:**
Wells Fargo is seeking a **Paralegal** in the Legal Department as part of the **Shared Services Operations Team.**
**In this role, you will:**
+ Provide support to a specialized area within the Legal Department using a high degree of analytical, communication and organizational skills
+ Primarily support various lines of business within Consumer & Small Business Banking Operations including, the Estate Care Center, Unclaimed Property and other teams.
+ Also support Small Business Workout, Consumer Collections and other operational teams within Global Operations.
+ Research and resolve issues and matters which may involve substantial legal or factual complexity, through detailed research and examination of documentation and factual investigation
+ Provide substantiation and background for specific client inquiries, claims, disputes, cases and proceedings under the direction of an attorney
+ Present recommendations and exercise some independent judgement while developing specialty expertise
+ Identify issues in area of expertise and work independently on complex assignments without direct supervision
+ Prepare agreements, documents and pleadings, and provide research and background information under the direction of an attorney
+ Collaborate, consult, and provide information with Legal Department attorneys and staff, outside counsel and collaborate with line of business
+ Maintain good matter management by regularly updating case information in the database, ensuring all required fields are accurately completed, and adhering to division protocols
+ Communicate with government entities as needed
+ Assist with projects as needed
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 2+ years of Paralegal experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Experience in litigation
+ Knowledge and understanding of credit/consumer Lending and Collection experience.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
+ Strong research skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
+ Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
+ Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
+ Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
**Job Expectations:**
+ Paralegal certification may be required in some states
+ Position provides for a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
**Pay Range**
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$32.69 - $54.81
