About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in accounting and finance. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and supporting the overall efficiency of the accounts payable function.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner


• Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts to verify transactions


• Maintain vendor files and update records as needed


• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies


• Assist with month-end closing activities and reconciliations


• Support the finance team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required


• Basic understanding of accounting principles


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
