I am the Service Manager for Wilmington Auto Solutions. I opened this shop in January of 2025 and have seen so much growth that I need to hire another technician! We specialize in German Auto Repair; BMW, Mini Cooper, Mercedes, Volkswagen and Audi. I am looking for a experienced technician with a backround in German Auto Repair. The Automobile Technician will primarily service passenger cars within a small team environment of 2-5 members. This role involves performing vehicle diagnostics, engine repairs, brake system maintenance, electrical system troubleshooting, and routine inspections to ensure safety and optimal vehicle performance. With minimal customer interaction, the technician will focus on delivering expert mechanical service while having opportunities for specialization in specific automotive systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle diagnostics and identify repair needs
- Perform engine repairs and routine maintenance tasks
- Service brake and electrical systems efficiently
- Replace worn or damaged parts accurately
- Carry out safety inspections to maintain compliance
- Collaborate effectively within a small team environment
- Document technical procedures and repair activities
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automobile repair
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics and engine repair
- Skilled in brake systems, electrical systems, and transmission repair
- Experienced in preventive maintenance and problem-solving
- Ability to prepare technical documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
