Assembly Technician Job Description:

PrideStaff is currently recruiting for a manufacturing company who is in search of an Assembly Technician. The Assembly Technician will develop and produce propane powered engines, engine fuel system components, propane powered floor-care machinery, and battery powered floor maintenance machinery. The ideal Assembly Technician has previous experience with hands-on maintenance, product repair or assembly along with forklift and fabrication experience coupled with excellent time management and computer application skills. The Assembly Technician position is a full-time, temp to hire position in Huntersville, NC.

Assembly Technician Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble Engines & Machinery Using Hand Tools, Power Tools, & Overhead Cranes For Mechanical & Electrical Installation

• Follow Schematics & Bills of Materials (BOM) to Locate Parts & Ensure Accurate Assembly & Engine Calibration

• Conduct In-Line Testing & Quality Checks to Verify That All Equipment Meets Documented Performance Standards

• Perform Light Fabrication & Warehouse Duties, Including Drilling, Tapping, Material Movement, & Packing

• Maintain All Safety & PPE Standards While Contributing to Continuous Process & Product Improvements

Assembly Technician Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

• Must Have a Clean Drivers License & Basic Computer Proficiency

• Strong Mechanical Aptitude & a Willingness to be Trained on Complex Product Repair, Maintenance, & Assembly

• Ability to Learn Fast & Maintain a High Level of Focus & Productivity With Minimal Supervision

• Eager to Develop Technical Literacy, Including Reading Schematics & Follow Precise, Step-by-Step Instructions

• Positive Attitude & a Desire to Gain Hands-on Experience With Fabrication, Forklift, & Professional Power Tools
