Active Registered Respiratory Tech (RRT) license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver expert respiratory care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic, Level 1 Trauma designated academic medical center. This travel opportunity is suited for those with critical care experience ready to work with a diverse adult or neonatal/pediatric patient population in a state-of-the-art setting. Location:Based in Lexington, NC, this role places you in proximity to a major academic medical center located in Winston-Salem. The facility offers 885 licensed beds and serves as a hub for trauma, stroke, and chest pain care in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy to adult or neonatal/pediatric patients in ICU and medical/surgical settings
• Manage care for patients with diagnoses including post-surgical conditions, pneumonia, COPD, asthma, and trauma-related respiratory needs
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment including Servo U, Servo Air, The Vest, Volara, Aerogen, and Heated High Flow devices; experience with HFJV and HFOV preferred for pediatric care
• Collaborate with lead therapists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Participate in weekend rotations every other week; no on-call duties; holiday coverage approximately 75% of the time
• Adhere to shift schedules of either 06:30-19:00 or 18:30-07:00 on a 6-week cycle

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential mandatory; NICU/Peds RT candidates must hold NC licensure, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• CRT candidates accepted but not preferred
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center or high acuity environment is strongly preferred
• Competency with EMR systems, EPIC preferred
