As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor flow. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and patients, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with clinical staff and local responders as directed by site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards for reporting.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, documenting observations and completing incident reports, shift logs, and other required documentation.
- Support order maintenance by providing directions, assisting with visitor management, and reporting disruptive behavior per site policy while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
