General Information

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Service Marketing Manager to support and drive Transformer Service business. In this role the successful candidate will define, plan, and ensure implementation of services marketing strategies in assigned area to meet business objectives and in line with global product strategy. Oversee all marketing activities, and support Sales organizations in driving sales and services of respective products.

Your Responsibilities

• Create, plan, and ensure implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
• Establish product marketing targets and budgets. Ensure their achievement through regular oversight, and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
• Develop and implement annual marketing plan in conjunction with relevant Business Units/Product Groups. Prepare business plans focused on business development for a defined market.
• Coordinate market analyses with Product Marketing team and Sales team members and defines appropriate forecasts and plans. Evaluate and share customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
• Oversee sales execution for assigned products by coordinating the preparation of relevant materials and guidance to Sales team(s).
• Drive sales efficiency by ensuring appropriate product knowledge (technical and sales) for each Salesperson. Ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
• Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coach, motivate, and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree and 8 - 12 or more years of experience in a Marketing, Product Marketing, technical sales, or related role
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the US
• Experience in the Transformer service industry preferred
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business preferred
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
