Job Title: Nurse Manager - Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CPCU)
Location: Asheville, NC
Type: Permanent | Full-Time

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Nurse Manager - Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) for an exciting opportunity in Asheville, NC.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and coordination of daily clinical operations
• Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care aligned with current standards of practice
• Collaborate with nursing leadership on strategic planning, innovation, and performance improvement initiatives
• Integrate clinical, operational, and financial data into decision-making processes
• Promote evidence-based practice and support quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, retention, and staff development efforts
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment
• Participate in organizational goals and interdisciplinary team initiatives
• Provide administrative on-call support on a rotational basis

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• ADN with MSN or BA with MSN accepted
• Active North Carolina RN License or Compact RN License required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 5 years of recent nursing experience required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital-based leadership experience required
• Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager experience required
• Strong post-cardiothoracic clinical experience required
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
• Previous formal Nurse Manager experience preferred
• Experience in Cardiovascular or Progressive Care nursing leadership preferred
• National nursing specialty or leadership certification preferred

Additional Information

• National certification in leadership or nursing specialty required within one year of hire if not already obtained
• Administrative on-call coverage required approximately once every 6 weeks
