Painter - Warehouse Production

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced Painter for a leading furniture and warehouse production company located in Greensboro, NC . This is a full-time, 1st shift position offering steady hours and competitive pay.

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working with paints, pigments, and color matching while also assisting with warehouse production tasks such as packaging and loading.

Responsibilities

As a Painter in Warehouse Production, your duties will include:

• Mixing paints, stains, and coatings to achieve desired colors and finishes .

• Performing color matching and applying coatings to furniture pieces and materials.

• Using hand tools and painting equipment to ensure even and high-quality finishes.

• Preparing surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and priming.

• Understanding and working with various pigments and paint types .

• Performing quality inspections on finished products to ensure consistency and standards are met.

• Assisting in warehouse production tasks such as:

  • Packaging furniture pieces for shipment.

  • Loading and unloading materials.

  • Maintaining organization and cleanliness in the work area.

• Following all safety procedures and material handling guidelines .

Requirements

• Prior painting experience in an industrial, furniture, or production setting (required).

• Familiarity with hand tools and painting equipment.

• Knowledge of color mixing, matching, and pigment properties .

• Ability to perform physical labor , including lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs.

• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Dependable, consistent attendance and teamwork-oriented mindset.

• Comfortable working in both painting and warehouse production environments .

Skills & Qualifications

• Skilled in paint application and finish techniques .

• Understanding of surface prep, pigments, and coatings .

• Ability to maintain color consistency across multiple items.

• Experience in quality inspection and warehouse support tasks.

• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.

Shifts & Hours

• 1st Shift : Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM .

• Full-time schedule with overtime opportunities as needed.
