Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized role is available for a speech-language pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students within a school setting located in Hickory, NC. This contract position offers part-time hours totaling 15-20 per week, spanning approximately 13 weeks starting as soon as possible and extending through mid-January.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services primarily via teletherapy, focusing on a caseload of 15 students: 10 preschoolers, 3 high school students, and 2 middle school students.
• Address mild to moderate speech and language needs across multiple age groups.
• Collaborate on assessment, treatment planning, and documentation consistent with school protocols.
• Maintain pliance with relevant educational regulations and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy, including teletherapy delivery.
• Ability to manage caseloads involving preschool through high school students.
• Eligibility to practice as an SLP in school settings.
• pletion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not mandatory.
• Licensure or certification appropriate for delivering healthcare services in educational environments.

Additional Details:

• This role is not open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
• Candidates from remote locations are weled, as virtual service delivery is embraced.
• The position involves part-time schedules of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours daily.
