Physical Therapist Job Details

• Location: Apex, NC 27502 – "The Peak of Good Living" with vibrant community, parks, and proximity to Raleigh-Durham
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (travel/contract physical therapy job)
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (52 beds)
• Shift: Friday–Monday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000–$2050
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (September 10, 2025 – December 10, 2025)
• Electronic Health Record: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Maroon/Wine

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in North Carolina
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in inpatient rehab, acute care, or skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings
• Experience with adult rehabilitation and clinical support
• Ability to provide 60–90 minute physical therapy treatments
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical documentation skills

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services to adult patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, or orthopedic injury
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize patient recovery and independence
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress and outcomes using Cerner EHR
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment
