HIM Document Imaging Specialist
- Assists in the timely processing of imaged documents by prepping, scanning, indexing, and quality checking within 48 hours of discharge and/or receipt from both hospital and physician practice.
- Helps manually index any unrecognized documents received via batch scanning within departmental standards.
- Coordinates the verification receipt of documents and records and follows up on any missing documents and records.
- Processes the workflow by working in the appropriate computer systems within the department.
- Prepares daily productivity and provide to manager on a daily basis.
- Responds to telephones and fax and follows appropriate guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: 2 + years office experience
